March break is the perfect time for families to get out and enjoy some quality time together. And there's no better place to do it than in the beautiful area of Southern Georgian Bay. From outdoor adventures to indoor fun, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Here are five activates to do during March break with children:

1. Animal Skate

Dress up for the free Animal Themed Public Skate after the Library Zoo to You program at the Wasaga Starts Arena on Thursday March 14  from 11:30-12:30. Wear your skate safe animal consumes and have a meet and greet with their Monkey Mascot and the Scholte Real Estate Team.

2. Visit the Scenic Caves Nature Adventure

Scenic Caves Nature Adventures is a must-visit attraction during March break. The park offers a range of outdoor activities, including zip lining, treetop walking, and snowshoeing. There's also a playground and gemstone mining area for younger children to enjoy.

3. Check out the local museums

Collingwood is home to a number of museums that are great for families. The Collingwood Museum and the Craigleith Heritage Depot both offer interactive exhibits that kids will love. The Blue Mountain Village also has an activity center with mini-golf, a rock climbing wall, and an arcade

4. Skiing and Snowboarding

Take advantage of the last few weeks of our region's excellent ski resorts such as Blue Mountain Resort or Mount St. Louis Moonstone. Enjoy the slopes with family and friends, whether you're a beginner or an experienced skier or snowboarder.

5. Visit a sugar shack

March is maple syrup season in Ontario, and what better way to celebrate than with a visit to a sugar shack? The Sugarbush Maple Syrup Festival is held in nearby Elmvale and offers a range of family-friendly activities, including horse-drawn wagon rides and pancake breakfasts.

With so many fun things to do in Southern Georgian Bay during March break, your family is sure to have a blast. So why not plan your visit today and start creating memories that will last a lifetime?
